Plebiscite No Result

BetterTransit

As a non profit charity with the vision of vibrant, healthy communities built around walking, cycling, public transit and ride/car shares, we are obviously disappointed with the results of the Transportation Plebiscite.

We are a proud member organization of the Better Transit and Transportation Coalition and believe sustainable funding of a regional transit system is imperative to Metro Vancouver’s growth.

In the meantime, we will continue to do the work we have done for the past 24 years, promoting and enabling  sustainable transportation by offering innovative programs and services.  Solutions allowing people to use more active modes of transportation are more important than ever, and we look forward to expanding our initiatives and exploring new ones.  Your support of our work is deeply appreciated.

Thank you,
