As a non profit charity with the vision of vibrant, healthy communities built around walking, cycling, public transit and ride/car shares, we are obviously disappointed with the results of the Transportation Plebiscite.
We are a proud member organization of the Better Transit and Transportation Coalition and believe sustainable funding of a regional transit system is imperative to Metro Vancouver’s growth.
In the meantime, we will continue to do the work we have done for the past 24 years, promoting and enabling sustainable transportation by offering innovative programs and services. Solutions allowing people to use more active modes of transportation are more important than ever, and we look forward to expanding our initiatives and exploring new ones. Your support of our work is deeply appreciated.

Velopalooza 2015 Is Here!
Velopalooza, a two week festival of bike fun, is set to start Friday, June 12th and run until Sunday, June 28th. Mark your calendars!
At the festival, anyone and everyone is encouraged to host and attend bike rides and events — which are all promoted by our website at velopalooza.ca/.
This year has over 70 cycling events including events and rides about: the outdoors, food and eating, hidden gems of the city, hobbies, political activism, rides for families and children, and learning to ride and maintain your bicycle. Something truly for everyone!
A big thank you to David Arias for designing this year’s poster.
Help Promote Velopalooza!
Velopalooza is a do-it-yourself festival. You are encouraged to create rides and events on the Veloplaooza calendar. And you are encouraged (urged!) to promote the festival and invite your friends!
Here’s ways you can promote the Velopalooza festival and make it a success:
Put some already printed 11×17″ posters up in your area, or around town.
Email email@example.com to get posters!
Invite your friends to our Facebook event page.
And of course, attend festival rides and events! Enjoy!
