About the Role

As a Bike Valet Attendant, your duties will involve setting up and dismantling bicycle parking facilities at various events and seasonal locations. This role is perfect for those who not only have a knack for hands-on activities but also a passion for eco-friendly transportation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently facilitate the setup and takedown of equipment at Bike Valet events and seasonal locations.

  • Provide a warm welcome to cyclists, assisting in the secure parking of their bicycles and micro-mobility devices.

  • Actively inform and assist patrons with queries about the Bike Valet service, enhancing their experience.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of exceptional service at all times.

  • Promote and assist with the registration of bicycles on Project 529, and support city-sponsored active transportation contests.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the organization's values, particularly sustainable transportation practices.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to engage in physical tasks such as setting up lightweight equipment and managing bicycle parking.

  • A strong interest in sustainable transportation and a commitment to excellent customer service.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly demeanor essential for continuous social interaction.

  • Team player with the capability to work effectively in outdoor settings.
